- Bootcamp in the Park
Bring your passion for fitness to the outdoors. From agility to strength moves to calisthentics and partner training you will perform exercises that train your body to move better and challenge your overall fitness level. Meet in Lincoln Park at the Freedom Statue.
(Class not recommended for individuals with severe knee and back problems)
A dynamic exercise format that combines the precision upper body movements of boxing with the power of martial arts based kicks. Students utilize core muscle groups in an anaerobic workout pattern. Elizabeth has a background in Jow Ga Kung Fu and has won a number of medals in sparring competitions. A series of punches, blocks, kicks and other defensive techniques are combined in an intense choreographed routine. Join Elizabeth and give your workout a kick in the pants.
- Total Body Strength & Conditioning
(Great for beginners to advanced exercisers)
This workout utilizes multiple resistance devices (tubes, Body Bars, weights, etc...) and teaches fundamental weight training techniques. The more muscle you have... the more fat your body can burn. And this class definitely burns fat. You will learn weight barring exercises for every muscle group and leave with a fuller knowledge about your body and how its designed to function. Lots of core muscle group and stability training. You'll be sore for days!!!
- TRX Suspension
TRX is a type of training that uses your own body weight and gravity, to build strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, core and joint stability, all while preventing injuries. In TRX training, every exercise you have to engage your core. Now you may think that your core is just your abdominals, however it is more than that! Your core includes the pelvis, abs, back and chest muscles. It is this core that offers your body stability, balance and flexibility. Everything you do in your life starts with your core, whether it is bending over to pick up the pen you dropped on the floor, washing your car, playing basketball with your kids, or participating in an Ironman.
